Shiny new pair of 5.10 Women’s Daescents - size 6.5

Hey, I have a brand new pair of these. Never worn. Sweet approach shoe and good cruisey climbing shoe. And they’re pretty cute too. Asking $80. Will also consider part or full trade for climbing gear. :) Here’s a photo link: http://www.rockclimbing.com/images/gear/products/5/17565-large_4449-daescen...

Mina Kavia (reg. physio, IMS, acupuncture and climber) is amazing. Her office number here in Squamish is 604-389-9768

I’ve been going to her for IMS for the last month and without her treatments, my shoulder would still be in a world of hurt. And more importantly, I wouldn’t be climbing!

Thanks for the love, Shane. I know. Total moron move on my part. Anyhow I'm hoping maybe someone will take pity on me if they happen to know someone who picked it up. :) yen

Ok. Don’t laugh. Lost rope.

Well, I seem to have misplaced my rope and the last time I had it was at the Squaw on Monday, August 6th. I remember coiling it and thought I put it in my pack but maybe I didn't. In any case, it's not with my gear. 70m Beal Booster 9.7 the yellow and black duodess one. It would have been at the bas...

I've got the Beal Booster 9.7 (duodess) in the 70m version. Used it for one season and love it so far. I've used it with an older grigri and although the "tug test" doesn't work, it will catch falls. :) It's got some dry-type treatment although it's not a dry rope - doesn't pick up a lot of dirt.

potrero... more

Ditto what ras and mcgarnickle said about people being super friendly, Potrero being super cheap and the limestone awesome. You can also camp for about $5/night at La Posada or Homero's. Or for free behind the cattle gate although there's no water. I was there last January/February just after the bi...

Lost Rx glasses at Brohm Lake

I realize this is a long shot but I lost my glasses last Saturday (19th) at Brohm. They're in a brown hard case. I've been back twice to look for them but maybe someone picked them up...

If you did, please email hey3apples (at) gmail or pm me. Thanks! hoi-en

Sometimes a girl just wants to clip bolts.

Hi. I just moved to Squamish and would like to find people to work some sport climbs with. I'm climbing at the 12a/b level. My schedule is extremently flexible so days and evenings are cool. If you're interested email me at hey3apples (at) gmail.com.

sitting on the bus

Hey. I'm a climber and I'm a her :).

Totally agree with you on the view of the Chief - best to be on the non-driver side for that. I just meant that for most of the ride before the Chief, the view of the water and distant rolling hills is quite lovely.

getting from Van airport to Squamish by bus

I just did this yesterday! It's pretty easy. Don't know if there's another way. Go to the public bus stop downstairs by all the shuttle buses. It's $3.25 to get to the Greyhound station. This bus will drop you off at another bus terminal and you'll transfer there to Bay 1 and get on a bus 98? Burrar...
