Morons abound. Same thing happened on Snake yesterday. I was two party's up on the climb. Soloist was climbing when the guy in the group below me fell. Fortunately, no collision. I respect free soloing but 5.9 trade routes seem to be the wrong area. Go early go late or more wisely go on non-trade ro...

Santa ended up being my parents. The tooth fairy ended up being my parents. Easter eggs are not laid by little rabbits. and blondes can be smart (damn) Now you are telling me that gear on a climb was left there by some hopelessly wigged out climber. No magic, no mystery. Hell I thought if I found ge...

I lost my wedding band/Smoke Bluffs
I knew I would one day but one week from our first year aniversary is a little quick. Silver ring, beaten up, might be anywhere. Areas I visited are the parking lot, pixie corner, jabberwocky, or penny lane area. Give me a ring if found 604 932 8802.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I hate trees, and believe in an open air policy. Left to long the climbs will remain saturated forever. I know this will make you mad but selected prunning helps the crags. Not a fan of aid climbing or climbing wet rock. P.S. I did not cut them but I am not against it if some thought is put into it.

Donated static rope for route setters
Going through the big move. I left a beauty static rope that has been retired from work due to age. Otherwise, in stellar shape. I realise that there will be a lot of activity in the Chek area. It is on the large cement block on the conroy forest service road as you begin your drive up. I hope that ...

Will the lower malamute ever be opened again.
I know there is a lot of conflict concerning the area. I know that climbers in many ways messed it up with dogs, gear and a failure to put there sh*t away. But... There are some incredible cracks down there just slowy growing over with green moss. In the past there was talk of a fence or some other ...

looking 4 beta on horne lake
I am thinking of visiting this area. I also checked out the photos on rockclimbing.com. The area looks great. My question is... If I go there is my car going to get towed, are old grey hairs going to be throwing rocks at me(not to scared of the distance they throw), worse are rednecks going to throw...

What climb/area is Rolf (sp.?) climbing
Saw an ad on t.v. today of one of our local climbers. I can not figure out where the footage was shot. Is it in our area? I believe it was for a pharma-save.
Just curious.

lets see the topo
I heard that R. Barley and others have been busy up there. Also here the potential is fantastic. When can we see a topo of the climbs being placed up in the Soo Valley. Nothing on Dr. Topo but some basic directions to the bouldering. I also heard that it suffers a bit from a long walk in and lots of...
