Re: Mank Patrol
Has anyone topped out on Warriors of the Wasteland recently? The obvious place for an anchor after P7 has one bolt, a washer and a nut (so no hanger). I think it has been like this for several years now? You can get some gear beside this lone bolt, but the quality of rock is not very good. There see...

Re: Cleaned: Men Holding Hands and Stone Free
Well, I do not think I deserve too much credit for cleaning. It was actually not very hard at all. I only rappelled in and cleaned the crux pitches of Stone Free, which was not as bad as it looked from below. And we cleaned Men Holding Hands while leading it; again not as bad as it looked. Evan, wha...

Re: New Route left of the Squaw
I thought I'd give this route a quick bump as it deserves more traffic. It is a great and wild line. Every pitch is fun and engaging... and also none are a gimmie. There are also some surprising crux moves where you would not expect! Some quick comments: The rock is still a bit crumbly, but I think ...

Re: New Cordy route on Mt Dione, Tantalus range
What an amazing route! I was able to climb this over the weekend and it is fantastic. There are no bad sections on the entire route and the three middle pitches are stellar; each offering something different and memorable. We topped out on the pinnacle (adds one pitch) and then rappelled the route (...

Cleaned: Men Holding Hands and Stone Free
I've cleaned and climbed these two routes (both just left of Freeway) in the past week. They deserve more traffic; both are really good, especially Men Holdings Hands. The second crux pitch of Men Holding Hands is one of the best in town! Lots of fixed gear (and some pins/bolts) just where you want ...

M&M Wall - WA Pass
Although not in the Sea-to-Sky coordinator, I thought I'd publicize a new climb that Colin Moorehead and friends established at Washington Pass. This past summer, they put up an 11 pitch 5.12b called The Tiger at M&M Wall: http://squamishclimbingsource.com/mm-wall/ After climbing them this past week...

Re: Attack of the Arc'gucci Clones 5.11 six pitch
I can confirm that the topo incorrectly states that you can rappel the route with a 60m. The first rappel from the top is probably possible, but it'll be close. The final rappel to the ground definitely will not reach. The middle two rappels are fine with a 60m. It is a cool line with varied and fun...

Has anyone been up there recently? What is the status of the pocket glacier?

Re: Prow Wall, new route: "Written in Stone" 11d
I got on this route the other day and thought I'd offer my quick opinion. It is a great route and more techy than the other 5.11 multi-pitch climbs the Chief has to offer. It is in a wicked position that offers perfect views of Squamish Buttress/Buttface along with the intimidating Prow Wall. There ...

There is also at least one up at Top Shelf now. The FA had yet to be done towards the end of last year though. Perhaps it has been cleaned and sent by now?

When I got on that, I was just starting to feel confident at the 5.11b grade. That climb knocked me down a few pegs. OK, maybe more than a few...

Seeking Motivated Weekday Partners
Looking for partners to climb weekdays in Squamish. My leading limit is 5.12a (sport/trad/whatever) - perhaps a little lower on slabs and off-width! I have lots of energy and motivations. Ideally looking for someone with similar skills and motivations. Happy to 'rope gun' as well. The next few climb...

Re: Freeway rack?
My freeway rack is doubles from as small as you can go (purple BD C3 for me) up to #1 and one each #2 and #3. Daylight crack will be run out, but it is easy and secure climbing. 12 alpine draws and no nuts for me!
