Re: Habrich Approach (again)
and to add to the comment above.... We were up there to do Sky Pilot last month and the road up to the locked gate was in better shape than we've seen it in other years. That said, we were happy to have 4wd and some high clearance but many of the big water bars have seemed to have flattened out from...

Re: Angel's Crest Information
That's really helpful!
Thanks for tips. We'll follow your instruction
I would imagine it's a route which sees some wetness....what's the turnaround to climb this route on reasonably dry rock after rain?
Thanks for your help!

Angel's Crest Information
Hey Everyone,
Would love some insider info on Angel's Crest. Any help is appreciated. A few questions:
1. From your recollection, what pitches are linkable with a 60 meter rope?
2. Any route finding tips to help speed up the ascent?
Love any feedback ya'll might have.
Thanks!

Re: If it doesn't rain tonight?...
Just an update....
overly hopeful. yes.
but for the sake of future climbers in search of dry rock on days like today:
Nightmare rock was totally (mostly) dry.
the bolted barn door climb (dry)
the bolted 11a (dry)
the 5.8, 90% (dry. top 10 feet, wet))
and the 5.9 (dry)
cheers!

The direct slab finish on Centerfold?
Hey all....two questions for those of you familiar with the Papoose. Posting here so that others who may search for the info may be able to find it: 1. Did centerfold the other day and didn't bring a topo. Tried the direct finish above the last bolt over the bulge instead of going left of the bolt a...
