Re: Handjammies are cheating!
that's so embarrassing, peter. that you are fishing to estimate the amount of ridicule that will be poured upon you when you buy a pair. hand jammies are not cheating, son. they are just BAD STYLE. but they sure will feel secure when you clip that bolt, eh? the only person that i know who can wear t...

Re: Mushy Peas Left of Opal
allright internet gazers? did the mushy pea yesterday. it's very good at a moderate standard, gear is fine and all that. it's quite clean too. jump on it- the star system in the select guide is broken. stewart

Re: New Routes Right of Zoe, Murrin Park.
heh chris. i think you justified your bolts quite well. however, the addition of firing line has bent the prevailing sport ethic of the zoe cliff. and it being the best of the moderate routes there, will likely see some traffic. so, y'know people are going to be there with some gear that they could ...

Re: New Routes Right of Zoe, Murrin Park.
heh chris. i climbed these two routes today, both good, especially the corner. however, the top two bolts on staples should be removed. i think it's an extremely poor precedent to bolt less than a foot away from absolute bomber gear in bomber squamish granite. it's odd that you bolted the corner in ...

New - Quercus Wall - Murrin Park
allright people? i was just out online living vicariously, so i thought i'd let you do the same. new route at a new(ish) cliff is the news here: the cliff, primarily developed, or resuscitated by c.mooorhead is located in MURRIN. walk as to PET WALL, branch right, walking underneath LAKESIDE-IN-THE-...

Re: New routes! new crag! Gonzales Creek area
aye aye. there's a fair amount of moderate potential left of the fferys wheel, including a 5.10 splitter, marred only by a scramble approach. some mysterion was building a trail that sidles under the fferys wheel and keeps going up a vague ridge with numerous fixed rope sections. i'm unsure of the o...

new route at the fferys wheel
allright m'dears? last night i added a new line at the fferys wheel 'Rubble with a Cause' 5.11b climbs a flake system and overhang just right of 'The Perfect Wife'. it's a reasonably good route that will get your guns limber for the 'Wife. seven bolts. FA: stewart hughes, jeremy blumel if anybody fe...

New routes! new crag! Gonzales Creek area
aye aye, here's some new action to go at: 'THE FFERYS WHEEL' located on the hillside above the 'snakes and ladders' slab, one km south of shannon falls. park northbound on hwy99 at the GONZALES CREEK pullout (trashcan and info sign). walk 100metres north and head into the bush just before the 'shann...
