Re: Partial opening of new North Apron route

Is this thing good to go yet? Looks like it is from the road... and from mags. Those clean streaks are pretty white and shiny.

Re: Smell of Fat Chick (direct finish?)

Did you clean up the mega non classic approach to it too? It was kinda wacky.

Re: Apron Descent Hand Line Needs Replacement

The original way thru the boulders like Anders says is the way to do it. It's way more fun. You get to skip thru the boulders safely and get to see some rad problems on the way!

Re: Honnold solos U-Wall?

uhhh, I saw his van in the grand wall lot on the 25th and 26th, which was after the speaking series was done(check the dates in your link). So he probably did do it on the 26th as said on James Lucas's instagram.

Cool pics kyle. It is a pretty fun little pitch. Way easier for the tall as you can see by Marc's position.

Climbing shoe switcharoo

A few days ago, I was bouldering in the grand wall boulders and must have grabbed the wrong shoes or something. I have someones size 41.5 La Sportiva Solutions that have been resoled and have nasty sweat stains on top. I'm guessing that you probably have mine. Mine are a larger size and have been re...

Rappel ropes left on Yosemite Pinnacle?

Whats the deal? Two ropes tied together, a blue and a red one, are hung up on a tree and some stumps between the leftt side and right side of Yosemite Pinnacle. Looks like a rappel gone bad maybe? They have been there for a while. Booty? Garbage?

Re: Wasp nest and sketchy tree at the Squawlharny

Wasps seem to be nesting in the ground all over the North Walls area. I've been stung twice in two consecutive weeks. First one was at Tyler's Cave in the Burial Grounds next to the Clean boulders. The second sting was on the trail to the Darkside boulders. I haven't been stung at all in my years ar...

Re: Top 10 Hard Cracks in Squamish

The only hard one I have been on in the range you are looking for is Zap Crack in the Valley of Shaddai, up and over the ridge behind where 69 is. It is a short, steep, beautiful 12d hidden in the woods. Fingers, thin hands, and I remember one hand jam at least. Jer Blumel's list of new school crack...

Re: The Gauntlet

Thanks for all the hard work Colin de-shrubbing the ramp and cleaning the brains of the route. It should be a spectacular area to climb when all is done. Mad Nerd and Poodle is a way better name than the Facade btw. Andreas's muppet poodle Chocolate has passed on but the legend lives on!

Re: Heli evac off north walls

People got delayed climbing on Angels Crest due to a horribly injured climber. Is this really something to whine about?
