For sale: 1991 GMC Safari Camper Van
Last year, my girlfriend and I bought this blue van from fellow climbers in Squamish. They were moving back to the UK after their work permits expired, and had to part with the van that they had converted themselves. Now I'm in a similar situation and the van is for sale again. It is perfect for a c...

Re: Attack of the Arc'gucci Clones 5.11 six pitch
The pancake flakes on pitch 2 were extremely fun. I thought the traverse at the top was hard, especially for shorter people, but my ladyfriend at 5'4'' had no trouble leading the pitch. She did have a hard time with the slab crux on pitch 3, which I climbed using my sheer tallness. It's not an easy ...

Re: Attack of the Arc'gucci Clones 5.11 six pitch
We climbed the first three pitches of this on sunday, and then unfortunately had to bail. Great job on the cleaning! The few bolts we encountered were all perfectly placed and the climbing was very enjoyable. I seriously recommend taking a #5 BD (as suggested above), we placed ours on each of the th...

Re: Mank Patrol
There is a large (microwave-sized) block at the top of the finger crack on Claim Jumper (at Nightmare Rock), that needs a trundle. While hanging from the block on the left side it seemed to be solid, but when I placed a cam into the crack on the right and gave a pull, the whole thing flexed in a ter...

Re: Climbing shoe switcharoo
I think that might be me! I was wondering why my shoes were feeling so spacious yesterday. Yours are size 43, is that correct?
I'll message you my contact info.

Re: Highball Extravaganza on June 22nd
This is Sunday, and it looks like a decent amount of people and pads will be showing up. At 10AM I will walk from the Chief climber's parking towards the Apron boulders. Warm up a little and then jump on No Excuse for Porn Hair (V5). After that, I think the most logical route through the boulders go...

Highball Extravaganza on June 22nd
Hi all, I'm trying to get a big group of boulderers together on the 22nd of June, to pool our crashpads and try out some of the famous highballs in Squamish. The event can be found on facebook here , but there is no need to sign up in advance, anyone is welcome. I'm would also be happy to hear sugge...

Re: More new lines at Topshelf.
My friend and I were the only ones up there today, this seems like a great crag to avoid the summer crowds. We climbed Finger Crack and Softboiled, both of them excellent climbs. I took a close look at Demon Sweat on the way down, which looks amazing! Some notes on Finger Crack: I'm pretty sure it's...

Re: Prow Wall, new route, 'UnBearable'
Agreed, this is an incredible line that deserves more traffic! The climbing is varied and fun, in an amazing position. We took the chimney finish, which I can recommend. The chimney is very easy and well protected, and it's awesome to climb behind the prow that is so clearly visible from below. It's...

I did the climb in October last year, and was also very much sketched out by the big chockstone. It's right above the belayer as well.

I made my way back up to the Ledge on Saturday, but my shoes were no longer there. If you were the one who grabbed them, I would really like them back. Thanks!

Lost: climbing shoes on Astro Ledge
Some person, who might or might not be me, stupidly left his or her climbing shoes on Astro Ledge, after getting his or her butt kicked on Alaska Highway. They are orange LaSportiva Pythons. If anyone happens to be up there in the next few days, this person would really appreciate it if they could g...

Re: Pox wall (Slhanay) area - 4 new climbs by Harry Young
I did Heel Hook Arete last year, which is absolutely fantastic. The rock was a little bit crumbly still, but with more traffic this could definitely be a classic. I can't think of any other overhanging crack system/arete at this grade.

Re: Rogues Gallery unclimbed lines?
I wondered the same thing. The steep crag left of the Tommy Gun wall also has some obvious unbolted lines.
