Re: SAS Trail day
Great idea for the trail improvement. I've walked that "trail" a few times and it is pretty painful trying to go directly from the badge to AC. Almost better in it's current state to walk downhill for 15 minutes and back up.

Re: A Guide to Sandbagging Newbies and Sportclimbers
Given previous experience with Jesse, I can only imagine that this was not written in jest. If it was, it's in pretty poor taste. And if it wasn't then... Wow.... I feel bad for anyone who encounters this kind of absurdity in climbing. Especially as a first interaction with the climbing community. U...

Re: New 6 pitch sport climb - Centurion
Got on this yesterday and was really impressed with the quality of the climbing. The pitch length was ideal! P1 - Pretty nice, definitely has a lot of dirt and needles falling on it, but it is pretty straightforward. P2 - Basic scrambly pitch. The hanger is missing on the second bolt, but it seems u...

Re: Angel's Crest Information
-If you don't climb the tree to start, link the first 2 pitches to the base of angel's crack (you'll have some drag on the final slab). Recommend climbing the tree. -Do Angel's crack as one pitch (p3) -Link p4 and p5 (place little gear going around the corner at the start of p5, but still expect som...

Sunset Strip - A Perfect "5.10" Barometer
Got on Sunset Strip on Saturday as a final climb with an amazing climbing partner who is moving far away to Scotland. Thought I'd post a quick review of this absolutely stellar new route. We ended up starting at noon with 3 parties above us, but everyone moved quickly and we only caught up to a part...

Re: Falcon Closure Update
Could someone who is in Squamish post this on the Sheriff's Badge trail head sign? It may be worthwhile as people aren't used to watching for falcon closures on the badge. Please, post here if you do this, otherwise I'll take care of it in about 2 weeks when I'm up there.
Cheers,
-Matt
