New Routes above Sport Temple
Does anyone know what the name of the wall is with "Special Forces Club" and what the other routes up there go at? One of them is called AC/DC. I think there are two other routes, one that shares the start with AC/DC and one way right.
Thanks,
Pete

There's another good reason for fixed draws at Chek that I don't think I notice mentioned above. Chek's the only half decent crag to go to in Squamish when it's raining but some of the routes still get wet up high. With draws fixed it makes it that much easier to head up a route without worrying abo...

Weather Today?? (Wed., June 4th)
Can anyone up in Squamish fill us in on the weather situation up there today.
Is it worth the drive up?
Thanks.

Legit or not?
Just came back from Vegas where I climbed with a guy who told me about a friend or a friend of a friend who'd flashed a ridiculously hard boulder problem. (newsworthy in it's difficulty) However, he also mentioned that the dude's buddy, who had already done the problem, replicated the whole thing on...

I think we've done this one to death. Thanks for all the replies. Pretty sure I won every argument. And seriously, let's cut out the personal attacks please. Especially the ones by those idiots Steve and Gary. You guys are losers!!! Anyhow, off to Skaha to onsight some classic lines. (with draws in ...

Don't forget the most important ones: 4) they have computers at home that allow them to log on. 5) they're under 6'6", have small man syndrome, and don't get to carry a gun on a regular basis. I, do agree with you though on the "climbing a tree or a neighbouring route" approach. B.S. as well. But, i...

First off: Angelina Jolie is not too thin. Second off: Paris who? Third off: No offence taken. I've quite enjoyed the banter. Asinine or not. Lastly: The original point of this thread seems to have been lost. I was not looking for a definition for "onsighting" or "redpointing" I was curious to see i...

In the climbing news recently Steve Mclure did a "real" onsight of a 14a route because as he stated he placed all the draws on the go. This makes every other 14a onsight invalid if the definition of an onsight includes placing the draws. Gray area??? Here's a good addendum to the original post: go t...
