Re: dogs at the cliff

my favorite part of dogs at the cliffs is when some old pooch is standing on my rope, and the owners look at me like its my fault.

I'm pretty sure that there were routes on the chief pre- late 70's as our friend mentioned in his calculus story.

Re: Skywalker, 5p, 5.8

@skidrc sounds like fun grovelling in the wet dirt. Yup. Top 100 classic fun. In the sun. Was up yesterday. Second pitch is totally dry. First has the wet spot at the start. Cracks at the top of P3 are gritty, but are slowly showing their faces. There is much good gear, but don't runout the 5.7 pas...

Re: Skywalker, 5p, 5.8

skidrc, sorry about the dirt on p2. I hope it's cleaned up by now. I'd be happy to buzz it a couple times to keep it clean, if you're looking for a hand. Thanks! Wet dirt was fine by me, made it an adventure. Especially when we have the climb to ourselves! Yesterday, at the top of memorial crack, w...

Re: Good Restaurants?

2 for 1 pizza on wednesday is the only thing that brings me to the brew pub. Oh, and the cheap take home beers.
Shady tree has large unhealthy portions, but its bang for buck.
Bean in brackendale has some good take away stuff, not super cheap.
Zephyrs has some excellent grub as well.

I will consider all climbing expeditions. However, being in Vancouver at 12 means a later start. PM'd though!
