Re: TR-Soling recommendations?

Smoke Bluffs are the best and most accessable and great for running laps. Penny Lane, Pixie Corner, and Neat and Cool being the quickest to access and require little gear in way of directionals. Some routes in the Bulletheads are accessable, and of course Malamute has some easy top access like HMW. ...

Re: Fern Hill Update

Thanks for the feedback, Dakine. I suspect you are more in tune than I as to what a 12a in Squamish feels like, but I am not so sure it's a 12a. I think Hot Chaud is a solid 12a, and Winston's feels way easier. But, what the hell do I know? I don't ever rock climb anymore. Still, thanks for the feed...

Re: Good Restaurants?

I was just telling someone the other day how the Brew Pub was horrible, and has only gotten worse over the years. Amazed they are still in business... Surprised no one mentioned Kozo sushi on 2nd. AMAZING sushi, and Hiro (owner with his wife Hitomi) is a climber. Cheaper than Sen, and closer to the ...

Re: new routes at Fern Hill?

Hey Y'all, As my final gift to Squamish on my departure, Peter and I put up a new line all the way on left end at the big mossy boulder. It's called "Story of my life" and checks in around 11b. Re: new routes at Fern Hill?

5.4 Slayer & Dakine: Thanks for the input! Great to have more climbers on the routes. PS. Sorry about the hanger coming off the 3rd fixie of Lady Switcher. Kind of bizarre... I always ream hardcore on those things. Thanks for putting it back up though! Awesome!

More to come...

Re: Split Beaver 5.10b New video, nice shooting

Thanks for posting, Dave! It was shot in a bit of haste, but turned out alright. More people should get on this classic route. Easy to set up a TR for those who may not have large gear.

Cheers everyone!

13b/8a climbers input needed for Gripped article.

Hello everyone, I am currently writing a feature article for the Canadian climbing magazine, Gripped. The article is about the common denominators that are shared among the world's elite climbers. We are hoping that the information we collect will give all readers a glimpse into what conditions are ...
