Re: Liquid Gold
Kyle, I couldn't say for sure, but we climbed it the day after some truly massive rain came down in Vancouver (I hear Squamish didn't get hit as bad, though it did rain a fair bit there leading up to our climbing day). It was completely dry. It's a short walk to the base of the climb from the campgr...

Re: Liquid Gold
After climbing this recently, I would say that none of the grades for this route in the select book are in keeping with the rest of the Bulletheads (Particularly P2 and the mega pitch, though also true of P1 and P3). There's no use debating grades though. More importantly: The 'original' route I'm r...

Lost: Blue Down Jacket
Hello!
I lost a blue western mountaineering puffy somewhere in the vicinity of the chief this weekend. I'm not sure where exactly.
If you've found it I'd love to have it back and buy you some beverages.
Send me a message, or just reply here.
Thanks!
Kasper

Re: Prow Wall, new route, 'UnBearable'
Just did it today. One of the best routes I've climbed, anywhere. Seriously everyone, get on it! The elevator shaft is an awesome feature, and the other pitches are not filler- they are fun, sustained climbing. We 'skipped' pitch 2, linking the first half with p1 and the second half with p3. This wo...

Lost Pink Rope
Hello,
I lost a pink Beal Joker rope, 70m, in ropebag, sometime in the last couple of weeks. Last time I used it was- I think- in the Smoke Bluffs a little over 2 weeks ago.
If you happen to find it please send me a message.
Thanks,
Kasper

Re: Mank Patrol
Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but the fixed rope going up to the base of High Plains Drifter is just about worn through (sheath completely cut, a few strands of core holding it together). It should either be removed or replaced ASAP. Imagining the fall if that rope were to blow gives me t...
