Re: Mank Patrol

A few of the bolts on serendipity at Rogue's Gallary are looking pretty mank. Rusty nut bolt and slight staining of the hanger.

Re: climbing injury - looking for physio/sports doctor

Bobby Edwards is good at Jericho Physio. He's a climber and does IMS and is quite good.

Re: New Rogues Routes

Got on Still Life today. It's really a stellar route and I would recommend going and getting on it. Helps to be tall on the start otherwise the first real move would be interesting.

Re: Mank Patrol

Not a huge deal but the bottom draw on mrs. negative has a floppy gate. I've been meaning to take it off and tinker with it but have forgot my pliers the last few times at chek. Otherwise a new solid gate biner would work too. Anyone have a source on where to get the solid gate ones? MEC, Climbon, a...

Re: New Rogues Routes

Second the awesomeness of action jackson at 11b it's stellar. The conjuring is a decent route too but I don't think it merits the 5-star rating it got in the update. The conjuring definitely has a hard to clip second bolt that a stick clip is nice for depending on your personal ethics. Still life ar...

Re: Mank Question

The draw on Snowglobe is of similar age, I think. Thanks Toby, I'd love to replace all the old fixed draws with shiny steel ones but they're costly things and I'm a student... again  The ones on the 11b on the left side of the crag are also old if someone else is feeling like giving back too. ...

Re: Mank Question

Got around to replacing the two draws. There are nice shiny new fixe steel draws where the old nylon ones were. It's only the two as the rest are easier to clip. I considered moving the second fixed draw up to the next bolt which I honestly find harder to clip but figured it was best to stick to whe...

Re: best time to climb at Squamish

July or August. The bugs are a harsh mistress in terms of weather. It's partly luck there but mid-july to Mid-august is probably your best bet for the Bugs. Squish is good during those times too.

Re: SAS Trail day

Hey John,
Bring gloves, some water, and food. BC parks has tools but if you've got extra I'm sure they'd be appreciated just not mandatory.
Cheers,
Ty

Re: SAS Trail day

Thanks Kris, the reason I posted is because there is no info on where the meeting place. The only information listed on the website the time. Also the website doesn't say objective, which is a lesser concern as I'd do it wherever, but if people missed the original meet up it would be helpful. Likely...

SAS Trail day

What's the game plan for the trail day this year? Meeting Adventure centre as usual? Or chief lot? There isn't a lot of info on the arcteryx site. Any idea what areas we're heading to this year?
Cheers,

Re: Where is Clint Eastwood???

The hardest thing to find about it is the turn off now because the start of the mile markers has changed. Instead of mile/km 25 it is now right by the 9km sign. From there just head up the road and follow the directions as per the book. It's pretty hot in the summer though Chuck Chuck is a little co...

Mank Question

Hey all, I've got a question regarding replacing some fixed gear and a little ethics on it. A few routes I've been playing on have some old nylon fixed draws. I'd like to know if anyone would have an issue with them being replaced with chain and a steel carabiner. If that's not an issue what size ch...
