Auntie Gravity area

My son Hamish and I started cleaning up this small crag yesterday. We still have a bit more cleaning to do on the 5.9 and the 5.11, but Auntie Gravity, the 10b, is much cleaner now. More importantly we replaced the manky 1/4 inch bolt near the bottom of that route. I have never had so little trouble...

Hi Kyle,

Sorry for the late reply! I'm not sure you'll get this on time now but I can do 6 today. How about at the Starbucks?

Cheers

Re: Found Rappel / Top rope set up at Upper Malemute

Hi Kyle,

There is definitely a pretty long reach to move right on "Sorry John!"

The weather looks good for next week so if you want lets figure out a day and time to get you your stuff back. I am thinking Wednesday right now. Would that work?

Cheers, Jeff

Re: Found Rappel / Top rope set up at Upper Malemute

Hi Kyle, Thanks for the kind words. So you definitely described the gear and so we just have to figure out how to get it to you. Do you live in Vancouver or ? Regarding a rap station by Stephanie's Tears. I was thinking the same thing and so if you happen to have some chain, please go ahead and if y...

Re: AMO Wall new routes and Seal Cove update

Hi timelessbeing, There has been a couple of additions since this topo was scratched out by me some time ago. My youngest son Hamish did his first first ascents at AMO Wall last summer and info on them can be found on this link.(Poor guy seems to have acquired by love of slab and first ascents) http...

Re: New Stuff on Crag X?

Hi Aaron, I'm pretty sure you are referring to a few things I did there recently. You can find details about the routes at the Quickdraw publications website under downloads/Squamish Select updates. http://www.quickdrawpublications.com/Free%20Downloads/Squamish%20Select%20Updates.pdf I found them qu...

Re: moderate route developers dream post!

Hi Gord, Thanks for the posts and thanks for the personal e-mails as well. Regarding the crappy responses and messages people have send to you, all I have to say is "haters will be haters". Glenn and I had our fair share of those sort of interactions over the years and learned to ignore them. Jeff T...

Re: Attention New Routers/Scrubbers etc

Thanks Kris, Regarding the sizing, I just want to add stress to what Kris already mentioned about hole size and safety. I bought a number of super cheap so called 3/8 drill bits from a generic company that were definitely slightly smaller than the Hilti 3/8 drill bits. Even on the first hole I drill...

Re: Attention New Routers/Scrubbers etc

Hey Kris,

I checked my message and I seem to have had everything right, but who knows! Anyway, here is a cut and paste from my e-mail
"30 - 40 bolts and hangers, 5 stations and 6 10mm drill bits would be about right"

Re: Attention New Routers/Scrubbers etc

Hi Kris,

I did send you an email reply to this generous offer but haven't heard back. I wonder if you received my message? It didn't bounce back so maybe it went to your junk mail?

Cheers Jeff

Re: The Common Wealth - New Trad Crag Murrin Park

I just wanted to take a minute to say to the developers of this crag; thank you and congratulations! I spend this morning climbing here and I personally feel that this crag is one of the great contributions of late to easy/moderate climbing in Squamish! It is well cleaned, every line is nice and ind...

Re: New - Quercus Wall - Murrin Park

Dru, you are very close to right. If you head basically straight back into the forest from the top of "Lost in Obsurity", you will walk right into this Quercus wall. So technically it is not the same wall but very close by.
