It seems kinda silly to remove bolts you have already put in. It would be a waste if it became an overgrown climb again because 5.9 leaders didn't feel comfortable.

There are dirtbags camping all over the Malmute again! Don't they know there is tonnes of free camping everywhere. Someone with some authority should go up and tell them to stop risking that climbing resource for us. Some no camping signs might also help?

I was up that way on a dirt bike and there is a part of the road with a lot of fallen logs partially blocking the road from a washout and I would think only a small jeep would get past. If I remember correctly it was at Pykett creek. Is this new this year?

There was some sort of van/RV thing that has been partially blocking the road that you can see from the highway the last couple of times I have drove by. Not sure what is with it?

Yah I wouldn't think it was for the hydro wires since they left large trees right beside the ones cut. Seems someone is chain saw happy and thought more light was good. But the cut trees made a mess.

Comic Rocks

There were a couple of large trees recently cut down at Comic rocks. I don't recall that they were in the way of any climbs. Were they cut to speed the drying of the crag? Any one have any info? It looks like crap there now with a pile of cut trees everywhere.

I thought you were happy you didn't have to look like a weirdo carrying the trad rack around at chek! Or that's what you told me!
