Re: Sullys projects

It is still missing the last bolt/hanger, definitely upper 12's... maybe more unless I have missed something completely.

Re: Just Can't Do It needs some glue

I'm going to second this. The hold is unfortunately best at the top, and if I was 20lbs heavier it'd be off already. Chances are good if it doesn't get glue behind it this season, a freeze and thaw this winter could mean the end of JCDI as a 13a.

I'd be happy to get it done, glue suggestions?

Sullys projects

What up with the projects up there? Are they still being worked on? are they open? I know one is still sans bolts, I'll put in the time if the originator can't be bothered. Not going to get on them without a go ahead... just wondering if i missed an/some update on them

Big Gear

Is it possible to rent out big cams anywhere in the area... looking to lead some offwidth this season, but not inclined to invest quite yet.

Cheers,

What are the top 10-15 sport routes in the Squamish area from say, 5.12 to 5.13. Your personal favourites?

Sully's Hangout choss update

Sully's is pretty crumbly at present. Helmet or at least a sharp eye and speedy reactions recommended. Ripped off a few of these on "In the Bubble" yesterday, I don't think it's affected the grade or quality (razor sharp) of the route. http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/7237/imag0115n.jpg On a siden...

alright, consensus is in, I'll get up there this week hopefully and take them down, unless someone beats me to it of course. I'll throw some replacements on it, and if anyone has some pieces to throw in, let me know.

    Mr/Mrs Negative

The fixed draws on these routes are in pretty rough shape; dogbones tearing, mallions pretty chopped up from rubbing on the hangers, old biners not much better. Can this old gear be chopped/replaced? Does anyone know who put them up? I wouldn't object to doing the work/ donating the stuff myself. Th...

I was emailing the man behind the crag for a while back in april, as far as I know, the routes aren't done/need to be cleaned.

    Is it dry?

Is it dry in Squamish right now? do you think it will be on Sunday? The forecast is calling for a 5mm or so of rain over the next two days, but will that be enough to turn the rock unclimbable?

the real question is, should I book the rental car or not?

    Thanks!

    Route Setting

HiHi, I am really interested in setting new routes, and have my eye on a couple spots, but I've got no experience, and don't want to start tearing up the place without a little guidance. Would anyone be interested in showing me the ropes, or giving me some advice, or even joining me on a scouting tr...
