Re: New Cordy route on Mt Dione, Tantalus range

That wall always looked amazing. How's what's access to the base of the face?

Re: Ten Years After Photos

Wow, someone else does a wall in Squamish. I'm always amazed how deserted the aid lines are. I think that route in general is a bit of a sandbag, the third pitch in particular is pretty damn expando right off the anchor and doesn't really let up until you reach the anchor. And I've yet to see a topo...

Re: Parkes Wall - 500m alpine granite face

With a 3+ hour approach and a climb that leads to nowhere it will never, ever ever see any traffic. It seems that the number of quality routes in existence now far exceeds the number of climbers needed to keep them all clean and everytime you double the approach distance you half the number of climb...

Yo! What up all you crazy Canucks! I know, I know the temperature finally gets over 20 C for a day or two and our brains all melt. It's know different down here just south of the border I tell you. So here's a gentle remainder for all you guidebook authors, 13c hardmen, route developers for the mass...

I watched about 6 guys base jump off from the top of Clean Crack (by the Dihedrals) in quick succession maybe a month ago around 6am in the morning. It struck me as an almost unbelievable launch point as there is a significant ledge and forest maybe 300' down? Apparently the new chute designs deploy...

Cragging at the base of 1000'+ foot tall walls is inherently sketchy. Everyone does it but the objective hazards exist. Glad you're ok.

I'm just going to ignore all the Fapping and ask....Whats you're cleaning schedule like? Are blocks going to crush my skull if I'm climbing in the area on a somewhat dry weekend. Thanks.

Looks beautiful. Out of curiousity how man man/woman days of scrubbing went into that? Something tells me P5 was not always a gleaming highway of white granite.

Just to throw it out there. I actually like the southside descent of Slesse I actually thinks it's kinda fun. Let me explain. Everytime I've stood on the summit of Slesse the sun has been well on its way towards the horizon. You've already had a great, long, memorable day and now you could can look ...

How to clean stubborn roots from finger cracks?

I figure if anyone knows how to clean trees and roots out of cracks it will be a climber from Squamish. So...... I was rcently cleaning out a sweet finger crack. Unfortunately there is a small cedar growing in the crack about 40' up and it has sent long roots up and down the crack. In some places I ...
