Gold C4 on Calculus

Bailed off a gold C4 on the upper section of Calculus on Saturday in a massive deluge. Went back up on Sunday to get it back, but some keeners had beaten us to it. If you feel like returning it, you get beer and karma in return. If not, I hope it keeps you safe.

last chance for dirtbagmobile

$300 cash today or tomorrow, or it's going to get scrapped. I'll get $300 for the scrappage, but I'd way rather it go to someone who needs it...it still goes!!!

89 Subaru GL 4WD "Snowturd"

It is time to sell my beloved Snowturd. 390 000km and still going! If you need a cheap vehicle for the summer to get you to the various crags, and act as your mobile bivy, this is a good beast. I've been driving this thing all over southern BC for the last 3 years, and it still does the Vancouver-Sq...

On the topic of loose flakes, went up Deidre the other night, and the flake on top of the upper crack that you can handrail across just after the start of the 3rd pitch is also noticeably loose...I pulled on it and it felt like it would pull free quite easily. Also scary considering how busy it is o...

Was up there yesterday. Went to go do the North East couloir thingy. It's no longer a winter climb, let's just say that. Oops. Congrats to the guys who did it a few weeks ago, nice job on the timing! The good news is that you don't need to worry about seracs on the Bypass Glacier. What you do need t...
