Re: Slesse - Glacier Conditions
We were there on Sunday Aug 17 and were able to cross behind most of the remains of the glacier, though some mid-fifth slabs and a V0 boulder problem were needed. It would have been really bad to fall on any of this stuff. There was still some ice in the back of the cirque. We made a mad dash one at...

Re: Escape Velocity, 5.9, Mt. Habrich
FYI we used the Habrich ridge trail and by the time we got to Mt Habrich we were VERY tired. It took us almost 5 hours. Nice hike though. There were several parties on Escape Velocity, so we simulclimbed up the regular route and it only took about 20 minutes. Opinions of Escape Velocity from other c...

Re: I'd like some offwidth skills
First, good on you.
Off the top of my head:
Vector - good intro
Then the wide climbs at Octopus' Garden
Then Split Beaver
Pipeline
Boogie till you puke (or poop)
I'm sure I'm missing a lot. But that's a start.

Re: New 6 pitch sport climb - Centurion
Climbed this yesterday. Good route, with enjoyable climbing. Still some loose rock and fragile holds. Some of the bolts are placed off line, so as to cause a lot of rope drag. I had some longs slings and skipped a few bolts, which helped. Great views.

The wasps on the trail are definitely angry.
