None of us are staying at any campgrounds, at least not on Saturday night. By Sunday night the event is over and I don't know what people will do. Possibly some will stick around for Monday, but I wouldn't expect any enormous numbers.

I doubt anyone will be at chek.

VOC Longhike Oct. 11-12

The Varsity Outdoor Club will be running its annual rock climbing instructional course on Oct. 11 and 12 this year (mostly the 11th) in Squamish. There will be around 100 participants distributed throughout the various climbing areas. There shouldn't really me any more people in one particular area ...

Is the nest on Trichome? 100 yards where where on Europa? I ask because some people might be interested in climbing the lower pitches of the climb and rapping (there is a rap line).

While there are some looser sections, there is quite a lot of non-loose, non-crumbly granite on the route. I didn't find it to be an issue.

The falcon closure doesn't start the same time each year. It starts when they notice them nesting and post a notice. From the BC parks website: "There are no route closures at this time."
