bullethead east??

looking for some clarification on this route. we climbed it with beta from the Mclane guide which, to me, reads that the second pitch is left of rainy day woman's second pitch. but looking at the newest squamish select it appears that the second pitch starts the same for both routes before splitting...

route recommendations around banff

heading out this week for a short trip so we're looking for classic multipitch routes in and around banff/canmore. grades 5.8 to 10+, trad or bolts.

any suggestions???


heard about a route up chinaman's peak but have no details or route name.

you can tell who the gym climbers are by the amount they tick (hey wait, i climb in the gym).

seriously though, i find it frustrating not being able to work out the route on my own. that being said, the most popular climbs will always be covered in chalk

i know the spot you are talking about and understand why you would want to belay at a different spot. as far as threatening you with a knife... that guy was a dumb a$%. but climbers with less experience (i'm assuming he is less experienced because of the time it took to reach that spot) tend to get ...

i was one of the six and don't see what the big deal is, i've arrived at the base of angel's crest before as a party of two and found three parties of two in front of me....same difference. we were at the base of the climbs at about 0830 so wake up earlier next time!!! besides were were'nt all going...
