Re: Wanted: used climbing holds
Hi Ambetr,
My wall is quite full but I still need some medium to large/XL jugs for the overhang and roof and some medium/large bolt on footholds. Could always use more slopers and pinches too. Where are you located and what do you have?

Wanted: used climbing holds
Looking for climbing holds for a home bouldering cave. I don't need any wood or t-nuts. Just holds and bolts. Anybody have an old box of holds or unused woody gathering dust? Will pay cash for holds - ideally bolt-ons with medium to large jugs preferred but will consider whatever you've got. Please ...

Re: Starvation Lake Crag
Glad you enjoyed the crag! There is an alternate (shorter) access that we used during most of our time out there: Park at the next pullout South of the one that was blocked off (first pullout on the left after passing by Conroy Creek FSR). Walk approximately 150m South along the edge of the highway ...

How do I post a JPEG of my topo??? If somebody could repost and insert the above image, that would be great. We started a family crag project last winter but have since moved to Powell River. There were plans for ...

Re: Zodiac Gear Sling
Whoops, I haven't checked on here for awhile.
I still have the gear sling. Not sure what size it is but I'm 5'11'' and it fits me just fine if that helps.
I'm heading out of town for work tomorrow morning and will be back for 5 days starting the evening of October 23rd. PM me for a phone number.

I whipped on it twice when leading it earlier this spring.
A bit of a psychological challenge for sure but it's a clean fall...
All of the crack climbing leading up to the slab crux is really good!

Re: Dry-tooling at popular crags
Opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one.
Drytooling (or nailing) established free climbing routes (sport or trad) is wrong unless YOU or the FA party established the route for that purpose.
That's my opinion, for what it's worth...

Re: New bolts right of Slipping Clutch, Bluffs
Thanks Hevy, let me know what you think of the grade once you've climbed it. The other 2 routes there are great as they are and I definitely did not want to sanitize them. I started scrubbing left of Slipping Clutch back in 2003 and also top-roped a few lines and variations around that cliff. I migh...

Re: New bolts right of Slipping Clutch, Bluffs
That is "Squeaky Wheel". It has 2 bolts and 3 or 4 placements for small cams (blue alien to 0.4 C4) I think it is around 10b but would like some more opinions. Start beside Slipping Clutch and take an exposed & slightly runout rising traverse rightward to the first bolt. Climb straight up on rough c...

Zodiac Gear Sling
It's been collecting dust in my gear bin for years and has only ever been used a couple times back when I first purchased it. Like-new condition.
I'm in Squamish (downtown).
PM me if interested.
First $15 takes it...

Re: Sunset Strip - A Perfect "5.10" Barometer
Finally got on this route yesterday after work. Lots of fun - enjoyed every pitch. The recommended rack is spot on. Some serious effort went into cleaning portions of this line and it shows - everything is still very clean (and bone dry as of yesterday evening). My favourite Squamish route of 2014 t...

Re: Habrich Approach (again)
There is a gate located at the memorial plaque. It will likely be locked on the weekend and may or may not be locked mid-week. Bring a bike to shave at least 45 mins off the approach (from the gate) and quite a bit more time off the descent. I am guessing that it would take about 2.5hrs from ...
