New area "Buckingham Green" at Rogues Gallery
Again posting for Chris H as he doesn't have a log-in here:
Rogues Gallery: Buckingham Green
This area is located directly above Fitness World. From Fitness World, follow a new trail to a talus field. The trail is a bit vague through the field but keep to the right edge, heading for the forest. Pick up the trail in the forest and make a hard left, walking to the now-obvious crag. There are two routes here on two separate cliffs.
Captain Fantasy 12b ? bolts
This is the first route encountered. It climbs the obvious prow on yellow lichen-stained rock. Climb an initial slabby section to a cruxy headwall. Head right on jugs to a good rest. Climb the technical prow above to chains. An excellent route.
Halt And Catch Fire 11b ? bolts
Continue a short distance to the left of Captain Fantasy to a featured, slightly overhanging wall. Climb the bolted crack up easy slabby rock to a choss-covered ledge. The wall above is technical and pumpy. A fun route that makes a good warmup for Captain Fantasy.
Both FA's by Chris Hecimovic, June 2016. Captain Fantasy was prepped by Jason Green.
